"Great little guest house with stunning views.
Of Ullswater. We used the guest house as visiting the Inn on the Lake which is literally just across the road.
Spotless room and super friendly staff 👍"

"First impressions were good.
Room & bathroom clean.
Got very warm during the night even though there was no heating on.
Shame the main dining room wasn't open on Monday/Tuesday it looked a better menu choice than the brasserie.
Overall staff were polite but the attitude during breakfast was generally unattentive & brusk.
Would I go back? Probably"
"We had a fabulous 2 nights stay at the hotel, and we had a room with a hot tub which was fantastic. The spa facilities were excellent, very relaxing and well maintained.
We had breakfast and dinner on both days which again was excellent, plenty of choice.
All staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as it was.
The only thing that was missing was somewhere to hang wet towels etc in the room especially with us having a hot tub. We could have done with hooks behind the door or on the bathroom wall, not a complaint, just a suggestion."
"Beautiful hotel , food in restaurant exceptional, staff very helpful, amazing views !! Dont think they should charge for parking though! Otherwise a lovely place to stay ."
"Lovely property, breakfast good, lots of choice.
Walls a bit thin, could hear person next door snoring.
Windows were heavy and propped open with wood, husband had to lift up to remove the wood. Room was clean. To turn the taps on, they were the wrong way round Shower pipe was leaking but still had good pressure.
Would stay again"
"The hotel was very well maintained and super clean one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in the Uk, the staff went above and beyond and were very accommodating they kept our luggage as we planned a hike and the breakfast was lovely too. We hadn’t had the time to use the spa facilities or anything else. We would recommend this hotel as everything is super close and convenient. Thank you to all the staff"
