"Great little guest house with stunning views.
Of Ullswater. We used the guest house as visiting the Inn on the Lake which is literally just across the road.
Spotless room and super friendly staff 👍"

"Great location and amazing breakfast!
Hotel was spotlessly clean.
The free parking in local car parks was also a plus.
Would definitely recommend staying here."

"There was a large car park and a lovely garden. The house is tucked away in a quiet part of Windermere but you can walk into town in 5-10 minutes. The choice at breakfast was great and the food was delicious. Very friendly and professional staff- could thoroughly recommend"

"I had a lovely room overlooking the lake. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The weather was extremely hot during my stay but the room was air-conditioned and lovely and cool."
"Outstanding hotel, service and cleanliness. Had the most amazing time. Amazing location close to town and local bus stops. Will be staying again next time!"
"A nice hotel with friendly dining room staff. The room/bathroom were a little bit tired but the bed and pillows were comfortable. The grout and tiles need a refresh. Steam from a short, hot shower triggered the fire alarm and we were met with a fierce member of reception telling us, ‘you have triggered my fire alarm’…by using the shower!
Food was much better than expected at dinner. Breakfast was ok with plenty of choice. £10 per night to park. Well located.
We didn’t use the spa but hot tub, sauna etc looked ok too.
We would defo use again if we got a good deal."
"Brilliant location and spotless room and main areas.
The rooms are slightly dated and the hotel could use some TLC on the walls and ceilings in some locations.
The bar was great as was the breakfast but we didn't use the restaurant. The grounds are extensive and lovely to see the bunnies hopping round.
The location is also top notch and we will return next time we visit Keswick."
"Characterful hotel, great ambiance. Car parking adequate even with 2 weddings on.
Outlook was tremendous especially in the good weather. Service was pleasant and efficient. Overall a great break."
"Excellent central location.
The staff were helpful especially in reception and spa.
The dining staff were efficient but less cheerful than one might expect in an establishment like this.
Breakfast was plentiful but uninspiring.
Luggage drop off was difficult due to heavy vehicles blocking the hotel entrance.
The plumbing made a loud vibrating noise for 10 minutes after each toilet flush.
The shower had excellent pressure and hot water.
The room mini fridge had the internal light hanging down and the fridge didn’t appear to work.
The hotel has old world charm and despite the small foibles mentioned above is a good accommodation option."
