"My husband has rare form of bladder cancer. We traveled hours to meet w oncologists, hematologists & surgeon. I made a 2 nite reservation for the appts. While there we learned he had new tumors & was scheduled for surgery the day after our reservation. His last surgery required a 3 day stay in the hospital. So I immediately rebooked the next 3 consecutive nites so we wouldn’ t have to change rooms or hotels. His surgery was at 7:30am @ UVA cancer Clinic. They removed 3 more tumors &...

"We were put in a First Floor room that was below the lobby area; it seems these rooms were created new from existing conference rooms. The rooms were okay but the corridors leading to the room was dusty and smelled of construction material. We were able to get good hot water for shower and the toilets ran fine. Beds were okay. Room was sufficiently spacious to put our luggage. Staff was courteous and friendly and the cookies were great."

"Overnight stay prior to knee surgery. First thing we were told at check-in is that our room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken. Room was clean. Mattress sagged at the head and the pillows were so soft, they didn't compensate for this sagging. Very poor night's sleep for this reason. Would think twice before staying again."

"The staff , the room and the location were perfect."

"I really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and nice, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking was convenient and easy to use, which was a big plus. Overall, i had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so pleasant!"

"When we went to put our dinner in the fridge in the room for later, a gigantic cockroach came out. I screamed, my husband killed it and was getting ready to go to the front desk when another one came out so he killed that one too. He went to the front desk and showed them the towel they were wrapped in and asked to be reimbursed for this. They offered to have us switch rooms and we felt like that wasn't really going to solve anything if there were cockroaches on the top floor already. The staff...

"Great location off 250 near the Tip Top Restaurant. You can tell it is a newer facility with amenities they do not have at the Holiday Inn on Emmet/29. Everything was clean, nice bathroom/shower, and a self-service coffee machine in the lobby area. Had to pay $5 for parking which surprised me."

"This place was very guest friendly. The staff were very nice. It has sports equipment and a small court. The breakfast was good. Well done, Sonesta."

"Great place"

"Everything was great with the staff and the breakfast was awesome. Everybody was friendly. everything was very clean. We could’ve used a little room for a second suitcase, we use the ironing board that was a little unsteady."

"Clean room, great breakfast, very helpful staff. Excellent value."

"This was my first time staying at a Kimpton property and I was really impressed! We loved everything about it. The bath products you provided were amazing, the robes were super comfortable, the pillows and the bed were extremely comfortable. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious! And, the grounds and arboretum were gorgeous! Thank you for a wonderful experience!"

"Hard.to find at.first. Elevator was out. Not an issue for ke.personally, but would be a problem for some. Coffee, yogurt, apples were ok for breakfast. Parking was limited."
