Escape to Poppy's Place, an updated second-row beach cottage on the ocean. Just steps from the sand, this stylish, family-friendly home comfortably sleeps your group. An excellent location for your family and friends with a very short walk to the beach. Public beach accesses are conveniently located on both sides of the property at each intersection. Beach toys, umbrella, chairs, and wagon are available in the garage for you. Features include a full kitchen, deck, and 2-car garage with a large driveway for parking or outdoor games. Enjoy the low traffic neighborhood perfect for walking, running, or biking and safe for children with a nice park 5 blocks away. Pets are welcome! Your perfect beach getaway awaits.

Quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic, excellent spot for riding bikes, walking, running, and allowing kids to play safely. Second row, half a block from beach access point with an easy walk for most. A beautiful new kids playground is 5 blocks away, excellent for toddlers and young kids.

Access to restaurants, shops, etc within 5 minutes: drive, bike, or rent a golf cart. In and around the neighborhood you can walk, run, bike, rent a golf cart or drive around and enjoy the area right along the beach.

Poppy’s Place was a perfect place for my friends and I to relax. It’s practically on the beach and has a great back deck. The house was very cute and clean and Amber was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We loved Poppys Place!

Poppys Place is a beautiful home that was set up perfectly for two couples and two kiddos (although four kiddos would have also fit just as nicely). It is a beautiful home, very clean, and close to the beach as well as many fun areas, stores and places to eat. The owner was kind and responsive as well. We really loved our stay!

We came with our dog. We liked how they had the dog bowls ready for us. They also had muffins and a welcome card. Place is quiet, which we LOVED! The walking distance to the beach is like 2 minutes! Oh! We do like to be beside the seaside!

The property Poppy's Place is really cute! It is very well maintained and space is used really well. At the front the lounge/dining area leads onto a deck which has views of the sea and provided a great space for our dogs to sit and watch the world go by (they loved it). It is less than a five minute walk to the beach entrances both to left and right. The beaches were lovely, quiet and clean. We were made to feel very comfy in the home, there was everything we needed.I would definitely recommend and we are looking to book a second visit this Spring!

Great weekend getaway!

We loved Poppy's Place! The house was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, but wish we could've stayed longer. Amber was such helpful host and answered our questions quickly. The house had all the things we needed-space to relax and watch some football, plenty of bedrooms with comfy beds and bathrooms to spread out and the kitchen had everything we needed from opening a bottle of wine (which was waiting when we arrived) to a Keurig for morning coffee. Will have to come back for a stay in the summer when we can walk right across the street to the beach!

Best VRBO I've ever rented.

We stayed for 6 days and it was amazing. Amber was very open with us and made it a completely stress free check in. We showed up and were informed the garage door was having issues. Within twenty minutes she had someone there to fix it. On top of how easy it was to check in, it's in a beautiful area. Your about 1 block from public beach access. The house was just as described and pictures do it justice. Very clean as well. Would 100% recommend.

Adorable, super clean, great location!

This was our 4 year coming to the island! The house was just what the pictures showed! Everything was provided even though we brought paper goods to help replenish. The house was very clean and the host is super responsive and helpful! It took a couple times for me to figure out the entry lock but needed the key inside to fix the issue! The only thing I would agree with on past reviews is the cactus issue in the yard. You can use the back yard at all due to the mini cactus that you will be picking out of you or your pet every time.I would recommend this house to anyone! Thanks for a great stay!

Great little place!

We really enjoyed staying here! It’s quaint but comfortable! Not a bad walk to the beach. A few things to note: the bathroom doors and a few others were extremely loud and hard to use. Not a huge deal but in the middle of the night it was a bit of a pain. The backyard (for those with dogs venturing out) is filled with little mini cactus plants that are painful as all get out! Watch out for those. Other than that, it was a cute quiet street, had all the amenities we needed! Awesome communication!

A Great Experience

The property was just as it was listed. Nice neighborhood and easy walk to the beach. The house was stocked with everything that you would need. And believe it or not the beach chairs and umbrella were in good condition! (A nice surprise). And now for the best part. Amber, the Property Manager, was awesome. She promptly communicated with us from start to finish. There was a bottle of wine and a nice welcome letter on the bar when we arrived and she messaged me on day two to ask if everything was okay. No complaints here.
