"Amazing hotel ever!
First, the price is absolutely reasonable with this neat, modern designed and spacious room.
The check in process is user friendly and smooth so far.
You can park your car just next to your room entrance.
There is a 7-11 and big Daiso 100 yen store just nearby."

"It’s an older hotel, not located anywhere convenient or near major sightseeing spots, but quite nice. Hardly any foreign tourists when I stayed, so if you want to experience the good old Japan (that is becoming increasingly difficult to find), here is the excellent option."

"You get your own parking spot right out front of your room. The room itself is a nice size. There’s a vending machine and washing machine onsite as well. Nothing in regards to dining or shops in the area which was okay as we were just passing through for the night. We were only given one pillow between the two of us and when we requested for a second we were told that we had to pay? I found this ridiculous as they were happy to give us two towels and I booked for two people but apparently they...

"The hotel was maintained well. The meals were also satisfying. The public bath was rather compact but sufficient.
The few cons were that the bed matrees was pretty firm and the attractions around the hotel weren't so vibrant. However, if you are there to fully relax with no running around for sightseeing, it should be fine with good meals and hot spring.
Overall, we enjoyed our 3 nights there."

"Staff were very helpful. Rooms were good quality and relatively clean. Public bath available. Overall a recommended hotel - it is located right next to (on the same level) as Mito Station, so it is very convenient. "

"Traveling by car, we found the spacious parking lot to be a major advantage. Our room was clean, and the public bath provided the perfect way to unwind. We received exceptional customer service from the front desk team, with a special mention to Mr. Shusei Ando, who made our check-in process smooth and efficient. As it was our family’s first time visiting Sawara, we were eager to try a local Japanese restaurant for dinner. Mr. Ando’s recommendation was the perfect choice and a wonderful way to end our day. And the buffet breakfast the following day was a great way to fuel up before heading out on our long road trip."
"Love the convenience of the proximity to the train station. It's very clean and the staff is very helpful.
Hotel is able to forward luggage to other hotels in certain cities in Japan."

"great hotel near Katsuta Station. Not much other choices in this small town anyways. A bit walk from the station is needed and being APA rooms are TINY, but for the price you pay I still give 👍. "
"New Year Eve-2026
Hotel location is perfect.
Rooms were great and aesthetic.
Facilities and amenities top notch.
Staffs were friendly.
Onsen, microwave, laundry many more services.
Only drawback is breakfast. No much variety and tasty."
