"Super friendly staff, well kept room and a cosy restaurant with delicious food. And if you love Christmas, this is the place for you. Most background songs in the restaurant where piano versions of Christmas songs (in July). On the negative side but also was a bit amusing in retrospect was the couple that walked in to our looked room while me and my girlfriend were full on enjoying each other. They politely left though. "This was a unique stay that we enjoyed. The castle is still a work in progress so there is construction on the outside going on, but the price for a unique stay was good. "The hotel advertised air conditioning, but unfortunately we found out after arriving that it was only available in certain rooms. Our room was extremely hot, which made it very difficult to sleep. The front desk attendant was very kind and provided us with additional fans, but unfortunately they didn’t make much of a difference. After traveling for over 10 hours, we were really looking forward to getting some rest, so it was a disappointing and uncomfortable way to start our trip."

"I had an excellent stay at the Marburger Hof. My room was modern, had plenty of storage and excellent AC (I was there just after a heat wave). My delux room had a lovely covered balcony overlooking a hillside; great for relaxing before bed. The buffet breakfast was well stocked and very yummy."
