"We stayed one night while traveling through Des Moines. The staff was friendly and very responsive to our questions. The room and bed were very comfortable. The pool looks great, although we didn’t use it. We did use the small fitness center. It has one treadmill, a stationary bike, and some free weights. Great value for price. We will stay here again on our return trip. "

"Only thing I'd say needed to be done is I've noticed not every room has an ice bucket & don't understand the 3 pillow thing either. "

"Place was beautiful! Close to lots of food, bars, & Wooly’s! Parking was non issue… lots of on street parking available… free parking on Sunday. There’s a super cute plant shop across the street you should take a look at. "

"I would like a thicker, heavier blanket for the bed. Everything else especially the bathrooms and breakfast were excellent "

"We had just checked out and went to the car. It broke down in the parking lot. It had to be towed. We were stranded. Judy at the desk was so kind. She let us have our room back so we could have somewhere warm to wait and allowed us an extra 30 min past check out so we could get our car back. Thank you Judy for your kindness. "
