Great place

Overall excellent, great room, great view, great dining. The hotel is very new. Just make sure to book the south tower hotel. Be aware there are hotels under the same name at the train station, this one is the south hotel.

Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Some spoke English very well. Breakfast buffet was outstanding with traditional Japanese dishes along with American style items including a cook to order omelette chef.

A beautiful property, well maintained, clean and in a good part of the city.

The location of JR West Via Inn is great as it is in a very short walking distance from Hiroshima Station. The room was good and it was a decent size for Japan. Their laundry was very good and useful. I will stay here again!

This place amazingly Clean and modernized. I love how they give out amenities at the reception area. They even have an osen, only issue is that I needed to cover my tattoos (which is fine, I respect the culture - thankfully the reception desk gives out concealing stickers for your tattoos). I wished I could have stayed there longer

While the property is 30 years old, it retains its focus on guest service. Plenty of amenities, including spa, pool, health club. Included if on club floor. Also a convenience store and wonderful service. Rooftop restaurant and other restaurants. Breakfast was included for me. I feel it was an excellent value. The location can’t be better. Walkable to Peace Memorial Museum and Atomic Bomb Dome.

The property was exquisite and the view was wonderful. Also, the breakfast was the best and the staff can't be beaten. This hotel was within close walking distance of the train station and trolley. This made navigating very easy.

A good stay in Hiroshima at the Mercure - centrally located and about a 20min walk from the train station or take a short tram ride from the station. One thing that drew us to this hotel was the washer/dryer combo in the room. They also provide detergent. We were able to get three loads of laundry done BUT it takes approx 3.5hrs for each load (washing and drying) so plan accordingly. The hotel is immaculate and staff are very polite. They have an area for snacks and drinks in the lobby...

Very close walk to the ferry port for Miyajima and Hiroshima tourist attraction!

The front desk staff went above and beyond to help with a problem I was having with my luggage transfer. They were always cheerful.

Our first trip to Hiroshima, so obviously our first trip to this hotel. Great location, easy to walk to streetcar stops, convenience stores, Peace Center, restaurants. Hotel has a very welcoming check-in area on the 14th floor, which has a panoramic view of the downtown Hiroshima area. We enjoyed complimentary drinks and snacks as we watched the sun set. We were very happy with this hotel. The room was clean and very comfortable beds. Great bathroom setup. Great amenities and great staff. Friendly & professional. Highly recommend.

We were able to check our bags early as we had gotten to the hotel before checkin. When we went to check in they had us check in through a computer system. There was someone there walking you through how to do it (so I dont see why they couldnt just check us in themselves). We got to the room and it was a decent size. Beds were comfortable and it was a nice over night stay.

I always enjoy the service and room Toyoko Inn offers. I came to watch the Carpu play and explore Hiroshima. Hotel and service was great.
