"The staff were lovely. The room was spacious. Location was good and close to hospital and a Tram stop nearby to take you to the other side of the city if needed."

"Great hotel located almost in the heart of the city. Good location if you are working north of the city - its easy to get to that part of town from the Stamford. Clean, modern rooms and you can walk to almost all of the CBD easily from this location. Many places to eat at all hours of the day - again within an easy walk."

"A lovely accommodation. Staff were friendly and room was clean. It was very quiet and a close stay to the entertainment centre (we walked there and back for a show - 25 min walk). There were limited parking spots available on the property but areas to park on the street if you missed out. We would definitely stay again!"

"Had a good 6-night stay here with a colleague. Conveniently in walking distance to the conference centre. The staff were responsive to a couple issues we had with the cleanliness of the bathroom after housekeeping one day and another issue we had with the sink. The breakfast was alright with good options beyond your usual continental breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Room was clean but the shower wasn’t working. Reported it to the desk and heard the phone call for it to be fixed but it wasn’t so unable to have a shower next morning."

"Checking in was different. We checked in at the bar counter. The Mile End is more a bar/restaurant having rooms upstairs. Room was both clean & comfortable. AC worked great. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Clean up crew were not so diligent as they missed our rooms the first morning. Location is good. Just outside the CBD. The strip mall next door has a couple of good restaurants. Recommended."
