"This place is amazing! The cottage is so lovely, has everything you need and there was even a little welcome basket of coffee and snacks for us! The kids had the best time playing on the beach! We are so happy we chose to stay here. A short drive to inverness and located the cutest little village. If you stay here go to the cheese pantry! We had the most amazing stay with our family including 3 little kids! Also the most amazing sunsets! We literally would live here if we could!"

"A lovely B&B, the room was beautifully clean & well equipped, nice touches like fresh milk, sweet treats & bedside phone chargers which was really useful. Despite having to leave before breakfast, provided takeaway breakfast. Couldn’t fault the place from start to finish 10/10 would recommend, a proper home from homes!"

"We enjoyed the Cawdor House. Absolutely lovely. It was my 60th birthday and Manuela went above and beyond helping my husband plan a wonderful stay. Beautiful flowers and mimosas for my birthday breakfast. She and her staff made our stay so comfortable and special. The rooms and dining room were beautiful. Delicious breakfast!!"

"The check-in process would have went smoother if I had checked my email 😅. As I booked through Expedia, I was expecting to have the instructions on my expedia inbox. So, I had to phone the host for the instructions, which she happily provided in a text. Interesting way of checking in, with a code and a lock box. Although it's nice to be greeted, this way saved a lot of time in waiting. The hotel was clean, the smell when entering the room was clean, fresh. Nice toiletries, plenty tea, coffee etc. Kettle and a small iron and ironing board in the room. Comfy bed, at least I slept well. The only downside, for which I've taken a star is that the room next door was very noisy on the day of the arrival, some ladies/ girls, laughing out loud and could hear them as they were in my room. Every time they used the toilet, I could hear the door, water flushing etc...very loudly. After a full day of travelling, I would have appreciated some peace and quiet. I haven't made the host aware about this, there is a note at the entrance to keep it down and respect the other guests, but I suppose, not everyone is considerate and educated. The hotel is in a quiet area, couldn't hear the outside noise, just from the next door. I stayed in rm 4. At the time they were not serving meals, but there are plenty places where you can eat around, one of them is 5 minutes walk and they have a shop there as well. (On the expensive side). But there are supermarkets and everything if you need anything."
