"Old Hotel, 70s and not renovated, low price has a reason. The onsen in pictures and pool were dirty green algae water! Breakfast was standard Japanese Parking on premises available Location not central and hard to reach near the port."

"Staff were really excellent - super helpful. Location was a bit outside of the main city centre but the hotel runs free shuttles to/from the city centre on an hourly bases. There is car parking available for a fee. Hotel and room looks a bit dated but has a great view of Sakurajima. Onsen is smaller than what can be seen in the pictures - view of Sakurajima from the bath is unfortunately blocked for privacy reasons. "

"The room could have been cleaner, particularly the bathroom. We had no view but stayed for two nights so it wasn’t a massive problem. Not great amount of space but any longer stay than 2 days would have been a bit tight. Bed and the pillows were very comfortable. Check in and check out fairly quick. "

"As the name suggests, the hotel is literally seconds from the station. As such, you are close to many restaurants and shops. As it was extremely hot during our stay, it was a big plus being able to navigate to the different restaurants and shops without having to leave the comfort of air conditioning during the hottest parts of the day. We would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and its great location. We will definitely be staying...
