"Absolutely amazing lodge. Perfect for families. There were also many seniors at the location, and couples without children, and it suited us all very well. The cabins are stunning. We had a deluxe cabin with the king size bed and pull out queen sofa. It worked very well for our family. The mini fridge is small, but we made it work. The tavern restaurant is really fantastic - we had the breakfast enchiladas and they were unmatched. All the staff is very friendly and helpful and the lodge has carefully designed every element of a wonderful stay for everyone. There are play areas with zip lines (not terribly high. Perfect for young kids), giant chessboards, and climbing rope walls. Horseshoes, bocce ball, and billiards for adults. The pool and hot tub are gorgeous. There is so much to see that it’s hard to do it all in a weekend, let alone if you also plan to go into the park. But we had a most incredible time in Evergreen, we will certainly be back."

"According to Expedia, Yosemite Westgate Lodge was in Groveland. It is actually located in Buck Meadows which is about a 15 minute drive to Groveland. While its mailing address is often listed as Groveland (7633 State Highway 120, Groveland, CA 95321), it is situated about 10–12 miles east of downtown Groveland on Highway 120. This is Very misleading. Also, on check out morning, we checked out at approximately 10:45am and I had a question to ask and there were no employees in the lobby, even though it was within "open lobby hours". I wanted to know where the nearest gas station was. There were hotel guests outside and I asked them. Apparently the nearest gas was in Groveland, approximately 15 minutes away, in the opposite direction of Yosemite, which is extremely inconvenient."

"The listing was a bit inaccurate. It showed that there was a place for meals and hot foods. We were never able to find that. The bunker/room I got were great for the price. The room was able to stay warm. We had a great view of the river stream and also saw some deer! The room was clean when we got there and well taken care of. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others."
