"The beachfront location was perfect. I was also happy with our room, the balcony, the fact that you could communicate via text about any needs. We went outside of the busy season, and it was still pretty busy. It was clean despite being an older building. Things were attended to. There were several very loud (drunk?) adults one day/night and kind of killed the vibe. There were tons of kids for my 6 yo to play with and he had so much fun. My only complaint is I think the chemical levels were off in the lazy river. While he went to all the pools, his favorite place was the indoor lazy river and he spent hours in there two days in a row. When he took a bath the second night I noticed he had broken out into a full body rash that is consistent with the chemicals being too strong. He still has this rash a day later although it’s getting way better. If I ever brought him here again, I would make sure he showered after each use (we had taken 2 breaks that he just dried off and fed him lunch/dinner and chilled for a bit before returning to the beach/pool). Overall it was a good value off season. We found 2 shark teeth on the beach so that was also very cool. We were on the 15th floor and it wasn’t noisy at night for sleep and the best were comfortable. Overall I would recommend."

Holiday Pavilion Resort on the Boardwalk

"Location was great, staff was friendly and helpful! Lazy river was unique and relaxing! Pool was nice and bar and seating area were fine! Very easy access to the boardwalk and the beach! The room was clean, updated and well taken care of! We would stay there again! Parking was an issue (like most places at the beach)! There are about 15 first come first serve spaces and 3 handicap parking spaces! There are 12 fifteen-minute drop-off and check-in spaces, (why 12 is a mystery)! Then there is a parking lot across the street that doesn't hold many cars (no handicap) with a bar next to it, so it seemed to always be full and had many cars with no hotel ID tags showing! (The hotel provides tags to identify who is permitted to park on their property) And in the next block was a small parking garage, and the next block was another small parking lot! So, prepare to walk a lot back and forth to the hotel from your parked car!"
