"Bei Ankunft deutlicher Hinweis auf Regelwerk. Eingangstür zur Wohnung klemmte, ebenso konnte die Schlafzimmertür nicht geschlossen werden. Diese musste offen bleiben, da defekt. Kein warmes Wasser, da der Warmwassererzeuger defekt war. Nach Auskunft des Klempners war dies der Vermieterin bekannt. Die abgebildete Terrasse lag direkt an der Durchgangsstraße, abgetrennt durch eine dünne Holzwand zum Bürgersteig, hinter der die Mülltonnen standen. Fernseher funktionierte nur eingeschränkt. "The hotel is fine and quite basic, as we expect in the price range. But it doesn't really appear fresh and delicate. Staff on check-in should learn to smile. A good teacher would be Jutta who checked us out - with a smile."

"Beautiful location with only a short walk to the centre of Lubeck. Ample parking (public car park €8 for 24 hours - free on Sundays/holidays) and the hotel also has underground private parking. The check-in was very smooth and the staff excellent. We booked an accessible room and it was perfect with a roll-in shower that had a fold-up seat if you didn't have to roll-in. More than enough room to turn a wheelchair in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the heat/airconditioner worked well. As I don't drink coffee (there was a Nespresso machine (sadly no George Clooney to operate it!!!) the hotel supplied a small electric kettle within 30 minutes of my reqest. The bar prices were not extortionate and the bar staff friendly and helpful. The public areas were spacious and beautifully maintained, as were the open spaces outside. Two small niggles: The windows in our particular room did not open although I noticed some rooms with tip/tilt windows and there were no USB ports at all. The breakfast was (like almost all of the hotel) excellent with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We noticed that all the staff made some small conversation rather than just saying hello or goodbye and the impression was that they had been wonderfully trained. We would definitely stay again if in the area and highly recommend the Radisson Blu hotel."
