This is Gibson’s Mill a 18th century mill a little gem for photographers if you don’t mind steep hills, there is a car park for a few cars but I think it’s for blue badge holders and does have to pre-reserve a parking spot .
Self sufficient and eco friendly old Textile Mill that houses a nice little cafe and National Trust shop. A pleasant stop off if you are walking in the Hardcastle Crags area.
Absolutely beautiful waterfall...well worth a visit, run by National Trust and has a lovely tea room...parking is limited so get there early...

Our room was just beautiful! Very clean, spacious, light from the huge window, decorated to a high spec and the bed was large and comfortable with lovely cosy pillows. I wouldnt change a thing!

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the shower and bathroom facilities were exceptional. The only minor negative was that I could hear the building's air-con/heating system all night which was very loud. I did not mention it as I was only staying for one night
