"Great staff, very helpful with everything we needed. Nice lounge area on 2nd floor for our group to gather, play games, and eat takeout. It was a nice off-season location for Denali NP"
Lake House Family Retreat @ Denali Nat'l Park. Hot
10/10 Excellent
"Wow!! What a beautiful place. I travel extensively and this place was absolutely beautiful. The scenery looking out the windows was stunning. Saw a bobcat, snow shares and a moose. In fact the moose laid down in the backyard and took a two hour nap. The view of the mountains surrounding the landscape from the comfort of the home was great. Everything per description was spot on. You will not be disappointed staying here folks. Check in was a breeze and communications with host was a breeze. Thanks again for memories that will last a lifetime."
Great views from A Second Home in Denali, vacation rental, close to the Park!
8/10 Good
"The property was great—-views were amazing. The only problem was a missing window (temporarily replaced with plywood which didn’t help when the wind blew). It’s a 5 star place except for that!"
"The bed was so incredibly comfortable. The Gnome Home was perfect for visiting the Denali NP area. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and saw momma and baby moose down the road. Loved all the snowshoe hares too! The upstairs bunk is great for those nimble enough to climb the ladder. There isn’t a stove inside, but there is a hot plate and microwave and a grill outdoors. Would stay again if back in the area."
Denali Haven: A Cosy Alaskan Retreat near Denali NP
10/10 Excellent
"We spent two days at the cabin.
Pros:
- Excellent location, just 20 minutes from Denali National Park, which made the early morning bus tours much easier, and only 5 to 10 minutes from Three Bears, a well stocked grocery store
- Wildlife right outside the door: we spotted rabbits and squirrels from the kitchen window and woke up to birdsong each morning
- A well equipped kitchen for cooking needs.
Something which took us some time to get used to (very understandable given the remote location):
- The toilet is an outhouse style setup
- Hot water is limited, so need to be flexible with cleaning routine."
