The room setup is a nice, more traditional layout; and the included choice of your kind of outfit is really fun. This hotel was quite a nice surprise considering the location, all for really good value

Awful!! Made a mistake at booking and out one person instead of 3 and got charged over $300 more at resort Terrible No English and very very very RUDE!!!!!

The property is so close to the train station / ferry! We had a excellent stay, and it was great value for money. The only con is that there aren't any restaurants at walking distance. But we only stayed for a night, and highly recommend it!

Miyajima is generally a wonderful place to visit and hike around. It is one of my favorite places in Japan. I've been there in hot weather, snow, and cold weather and also pleasant fall weather. This trip it has been raining every day for a week, so

Quiet peace compared to the frenetic energy of Tokyo. A contrast that helps understand Japan beyond mega city fame. Historical and beautiful.
More tourists than I expected, with the resulting preponderance of tourist shops on the Main Street.
Friendly staff and plenty of parking.
Be sure to take the cable-cars (called "rope-way") up to the top of Mt. Mizen. If you are feeling really adventurous, you can walk uphill and/or downhill (about 2 hours each way).
