"Great one-night stay at the Queens Head Hotel. Excellent location and convenient parking behind the accommodation (£15 overnight). Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious—old but quaint"

"What a beautiful room with incredible views. Clean, comfortable with everything you need for a night away. All rooms are adjacent to the pub in a separate building. Opening French doors give a wonderful view. We ate at the pub and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We'll definitely be back!"

"Beautiful room in a lovely hotel. Staff were attentive and friendly. Extra touches in the room like homemade biscuits and a little decanter of port were thoughtful and much appreciated. Really nice finishes in room and bathroom. Comfy bed and a fantastic fan for warm nights! Definitely recommend a drink in the courtyard. We'll definitely be back."

"Really nice b&b in an historic and interesting house.
Host was really friendly and breakfasts were really good.
Large bedroom, plenty of space for clothes.
Right opposite the Abbey and near local amenities.
Would certainly return."

"We enjoyed staying in the tents at the medieval village, the grounds are beautiful. Parking and Check in was easy and quick. Tents were clean and comfortable, the beds and bedding provided were great we loved it. Activities in the evening were good for young kids ages 5-10 but not so much for older kids. Breakfast was nice, lots of choice but the queue to get a table was unreasonable considering you have to book a time a lot. Negatives - the board walk is really noisy so keeps you awake when kids run up and down it late at night or early morning. I didn’t realise we were so close to the airport, early planes also woke us up, VERY LOUD. The showers are nice and powerful but drainage is a joke, the whole wet room becomes a bath and stays wet, soapy and dirty so using the toilet after someone’s showered is impossible, expect wet feet and trousers. All the staff were friendly and helpful"
"Outstanding staff with great personalities throughout the hotel. Willing to help and made our stay extremely enjoyable. Collectively, probably the best hotel staff I have had the pleasure to meet. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities you could need. Had a lovely swim and used the steam room, that was enjoyable. Enjoyed our 2 course meal and after dinner drinks. The only downside is the continuation of the franchise to charge for parking. The room was well presented, clean and comfortable. Have stayed in its sister hotel in Wolvercote and this was the reason I booked for our group of 4, as that was a great experience also. I recommend both hotels and woukd definitely stay again."
"This is the perfect stay in Stratford! The building is historical with updated and spacious rooms. The pub/restaurant is absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will stay here every time we return to the area."
"Beautifully spacious and clean, air conditioned room. Excellent outside/garden space with lovely atmosphere, where you can sit into the night thanks to the plentiful heaters. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room were brilliant 'extras' and we even took the chance for a treatment with Catalina.
Would highly recommend and we will return."
"Stayed here before in a standard room and the AC wasn't working so the room had a small fan, was pretty basic. This time I paid for the upgrade and it was well worth the extra, AC was working (but a bit weak), bed was a lot more comfortable and nice coffee machine and some complimentary snacks and soft drinks. Gym was a bit crowded and some machines were broken, didn't use the pool. Bar food and service was ok, typical selections but was a short stay so didn't get bored of it. Parking easy and the area was ok so I'd stay again"
"Lovely period hotel (the original Putin wallpaper in the stairwell is amazing)
Breakfast excellent, good choice of everything on the buffet table with food being replenished regularly
Bathroom needs improvement, it’s fine for an overnight stay but insufficient pegs, storage if you’re staying for longer. The same applies to the bedroom, great for one night but again if you’re staying longer the dressing table is totally taken up with coffee/tea paraphernalia and no drawer for personal bits and pieces. Bedside tables were just that - a table. However bed comfortable and an extra sheet was thoughtfully left out which was very welcome with the current heat spell"
