"Communication was poor. Check-in information was kept secret until 15 minutes before check-in. We tried to shower upon arrival but couldn’t find towels. We eventually found a few in the dryer. We alerted owner that towels were limited (towels included and we didn’t want to be accused of stealing them). After several days, owner provided towels. My kids call this Spider House, as bugs were everywhere (despite roach bait on counters). We stayed here for a ball tournament. Fortunately we didn’t...

"The house was absolutely charming. It may need a little paint on the outside around the side entrance, but other than that, the interior decor was classy and of great taste. Everything worked in perfect order. The owner responded to any questions within minutes. The neighborhood feels very safe and friendly. Overall, this was an absolutely fabulous experience. I highly recommend it for a couple or a small family."

"This is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. It feels remote. There is no light pollution, nor is there any noise of traffic at night. The only noises were those of the birds and the creek, which were lovely. I felt that I was deep in the woods, yet the place is not very far from a grocery store and downtown. The ambiance of the cottage is soothing. My stay made for a wonderful retreat. I hope to return. "

"I would want to stay here even if we moved to the surrounding area. It’s just peaceful and clean. It took my breath away the first morning when I opened my window and saw all the horses directly behind my cabin running around. Then I laughed watched the pig run by! The dogs were friendly towards my big dog. Melinda was kind and easy to work with when we extended our stay."
