Holiday Inn Express & Suites Parkersburg East by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful 4 day stay. Our bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet, and the breakfast was delicious. The coffee is fresh ground and brewed."
Adorable 1-bedroom cabin in fabulous Glenville with cool AC.
10/10 Excellent
"I cannot run out of good things to say about this property and its host, Ken. We stayed 4th of July weekend and it was a extreme heat wave this year, and the listing of “cool A/C” is no lie! The tiny cabin is secluded in a beautiful mountain valley and we saw a neighbor drive by twice in our entire 4 night stay. We originally planned for two days but simply could not get enough. Very private, quiet, and peaceful. Super strong wifi and anything you could ever need for a short term rental. Extremely clean and stocked with anything you need. It was 20 minutes from town with multiple stores and restaurants, and 10 minutes drive from Cedar Creek State Park with a pool and put-put golf. The park store was very reasonably priced and had super cute stuff! Owner had *amazing* communication and met every need we could have and more! We had our dog and one year old with us and they enjoyed the trip just as much as us parents did! Will certainly rent again for another trip to WV. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you again, Ken, for everything. 100/10"
PRIVATE RETREAT- 2br cabin on 40 acres surrounded by Wayne National Forest
10/10 Excellent
"If you need a calm, peaceful, relaxing, and serene getaway, this is the place to go! From check in to check out our experience was amazing. Any issues we did have we received a quick response and were able to get things squared away. We are looking forward to booking here again in the future."
"As with other Windam properties this appears to have been a two-star that Wyndham has converted to a 3-1/2 star. No fancy lobby or grounds, but a pleasant staff and a room as good as about anywhere. For a great price (which raises my rating )."
Rustic River Front cabin 5 minutes away from I77 & 10 minutes from town.
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely love this rustic cabin! Location is conveniently situated for easy access to the interstate but tucked back on the river front for some seclusion. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises over the open agricultural field on one side and wooded separation from a few quiet neighbors on the other side. Walking bridge connects to the well lit path down to the dock for fishing/boating/kayaking/pedal boat as well as a well lit deck with nice outdoor furniture for relaxing and conversation. Kayaks, pedal boat, and life vests provided. The cabin is well equipped with cookware, utensils, an automatic drinking water dispenser with hot/cold water, window AC unit, wood burning stove, ceiling fan and table fan. There is no running water but a 3 gallon water jug with a motorized water pump for hand washing/teeth brushing/dishes. Hand soap/sanitizer/dish soap and paper towels provided. Bring extra water if you’ll be staying more than a couple days. Towels and linens provided. Large couch for guests. Dining table for 4. Fridge and freezer ample. Pod coffee maker. Propane grill outside with utensils. Outdoor dining table and chairs for 4 and some other outdoors chairs to gather for cookout in the back yard or around the fire pit. Single person porta jon is close the house and well lit around it by solar lights for after dark use. No shower so bring your own or plan accordingly.Back porch is a cozy place to gather in the rain or have some coffee in the morning with several seating options."
