"Magnificent grounds, the approach on driving towards the Hall is stunning. It's a beautiful historic building with a very pleasant bar with lovely outdoor seating overlooking the grounds open until 10pm. Staff were polite, friendly and attentive. The breakfast was amazing. Lovely full cooked options and lots of fresh fruit with greek yoghurt and pastries etc .. The room and ensuite bathroom was simple but very pleasant and the bed comfortable. "Room was dirty and too warm air con not working old fashioned fan trying to keep room cool which was useless. Shower was disgusting with no shower wash left in tub.was shocked as expected it to be a nice clean hotel . Never again."

"We have been visiting the property for 18 years, it is a great location and a nice place to stay. However , if you take a room with kitchen facility, you would expect basic stuff like cutlery, plates etc there was nothing! Bathroom no shower gel or shampoo. This day and age you would expect basic things like that."

"Good sized room. Unfortunately, as seen in many other reviews, the aircon was not working properly in the bedrooms. We heard others complaining too. Also a lingering unpleasant smell in one of the two suites we booked, and missing crockery. We have received a partial refund, but this issue really needs to be resolved, as it's clearly been going on for a while."
