Princess Senses The Mangrove Resort - Adults Only

"I went on a solo vacation, I absolutely loved the resort. I had 2 complaints. 1. Being a big ass roach got in my room somehow. Which can happen with doors opening and closing, maid's cleaning, etc. They could have compensated me better but whatever. They did however ask if I wanted to change rooms if not they what exterminate which is what I chose. I digress. My favorite restaurant was Robert Flame, the Italian restaurant the others where ok. I will definitely revisit this resort. It's beautiful. Oh yeah the beach isn't crystal clear waters. I didn't spend any time in the beach for that reason . Great entertainment with lots to do!"

"We were here for 10 days from the end of June - July 2026, the weather was good , the scenery was amazing, the walk to the rooms was also good as it allowed to get a few steps in after meals. The meals provided in the buffet restaurants were generally the same food served daily. The mini bar in rooms were restocked every 2nd day, which was good. The cleaners cleaned daily however sheets were not changed daily. The resort itself, although stated it was a family resort, the entertainment was more of a clubbing vibe for younger adults, also the live entertainment by dancers were absolutely amazing however, again I feel this was or should be focused more on adults not children, therefore I feel there should be separate entertainment for under 12s. Nevertheless the staff were friendly and catered to all your needs , the only other negative part was the medical center as there did not appear to be any first aid on the beach and when enquired at the medical center, we were advised if treatment was required it would be provided at a cost as they are a private company."

"The rooms were clean. The only issue was the lack of towels. Staff was as friendly as they can be. They do appear to be short staffed. Also the staff seems to stick by the manual. Sometimes what they are telling doesn’t seem to even make sense to them but they have to say it I guess. The specialty restaurant seating situation was a bit frustrating since we were traveling with a larger group. The activities were top tier and the pools were great. The drinks were phenomenal when you had the right bartender. Check Jason at the swim up bar and Morris at the aqua snack bar for the best experience. We had an issue with a sick guests and needed food for her after visiting the doctor and advised with a note to stay in her room. supervisor Max in the restaurant was able to assist with getting her a meal to her room. I’m not a beach person so I have no complaints about the beach as I was able to get in the water for a few minutes. We had a swim out room right by the food truck and the theater in building 6 and that was a great location. The food truck was a bit disappointing as they ran out of jerk chicken a few times and also ran out of plates one time. The good news is the reef restaurant right next to the food truck has the same food including the jerk chicken. The sports bar at night is a vibe especially on the silent disco night. I would definitely return. We used waves tours for our excursions and the nightlife activities off the resort."

"we had an absolutely beautiful time at the grand Palladium Lady Hamilton in Jamaica. The beginning was a bit of a rocky start to start. We stood in line for check-in for HOURS, the travel club as nice as it is and as worth it as I think it could be if you have money, I really think there's a better way they could go about it so if you can try to avoid it great if you're interested in learning about it then by all means, go ahead and spend your day with them. We got upgraded to a room because there were several issues that were going on with ours. we had a junior suite Garden view, which the nice thing was as we still had a pretty view of the ocean, but Our air conditioner did not work. The television did not work and did not have a remote to it. The room I'm sorry to say it was not extremely clean and the tub had broken jets in it. It was really disappointing, and we brought it to the attention of managers there and they got our room upgraded which the nice thing was as we ended up being closer to the other couple that we were traveling with, so that also made us feel better, as well. Overall, we had a beautiful time and we were sad to leave, to be honest. Majority of the staff that we were around were extremely sweet and kind and friendly. They made it feel like home. The food everywhere we went was absolutely delicious, and the pool is absolutely to die for. I would definitely go again, but I would also recommend splurging on the more expensive rooms if you can."

"The most relaxing resort stay I ever had in the Caribbean. No noise. Jungle setting was unique. Rooms (bungalow) was awesome experience. Staff was not in your face all the time and was there only when you wanted or needed them. Swim up bar was just the right size and setting for us. Kudos. I try all kinds of resorts but I may even be back here sooner rather than later."
