Garden of Number 2 Stewarts Green, Hambledon This tiny garden caught my eye. The owner, in his seventies I would say, came out and told me it was his pride and joy and he'd won several prizes in the village. He used to open it to the public, and one year in the 1970s he raised £200 for the Red Cross. But he'd stopped doing so because it became prohibitively expensive to get public liability insurance for such open days. I asked how many people had been injured by his garden. He replied 'none'.
