"This hotel truly felt like a five-star home. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. Although the parking entrance is a bit tricky to find, the staff at the main entrance were incredibly helpful, guiding me to the designated lot and immediately assisting with my luggage. The check-in process was seamless and efficient.
The Onsen Experience:
Located in a renowned hot spring area, this hotel’s onsen facilities are second to none. They cater to everyone’s needs, including lower-temperature baths for those with high blood pressure, and both indoor and outdoor options. I was particularly impressed by the impeccable cleanliness—I didn’t see a single stray hair on the floor as staff were constantly cleaning. They also provide high-quality, complimentary toiletries and skincare products that were so good I ended up buying some at the hotel shop.
Room & Comfort:
I stayed in a Western-style room which was spotless and well-organized. The view of the snow-capped mountains from the window was breathtaking. It was a very restful stay, and I loved the convenience of being able to walk around the hotel comfortably in the provided yukata.
Dining & Location:
The breakfast buffet was incredible, with an extensive variety of exquisite dishes—there were so many options I couldn't even try them all! The location is also perfect, just a short walk to the famous Jigokudani (Hell Valley) and the local shopping street."
