We stayed during the winter and so although we werent able to take advantage of everything nearby, it was still very nice to stay for the weekend. We own a camper and rarely stay elsewhere, so this was a great spot to hang for a weekend getaway to Cook Forest."

"Beautiful spot, the view of the river is not overstated! The whole area is breathtaking--I love the northern PA mountains and the snow that comes with it in winter. If you have a large group, make sure you plan a lot of outdoor time, since the cabin itself doesn't have a lot of indoor "hanging out" area. Clint was very accommodating, communicative and nice to work with. He's also local, which is great. Even though the cabin is "off-grid" you really won't think about it much as far as electric, hot water, stove, etc. Shower/bathroom were great, even with a larger group."
