Airport Planet Lodge at Kilimanjaro Airport

"The hotel is quite old so some things weren't great - door to patio couldn't stay shut and TV didn't work. However the air conditioning was fantastic, the employees were mostly very helpful and pleasant. The hotel is close for the airport but otherwise not a great location - nowhere to go for a walk and only a short path inside the garden area."

"Modern hotel in central Moshi. Staff were amazing! My suitcase lock broke & I couldn’t open the outside of my suitcase & they came up with tools to save the day. At breakfast, they accommodated my vegan needs & the cook even made fresh sweet treats for me. They helped me get a safe taxi to my starting tour hotel. I picked a Kilimanjaro view room & was given a 7th floor one. It had fantastic windows which would have made for a spectacular view but the clouds kept Kili hidden for my stay. Location was great to walk to Union Cafe, ATM or shop next door for water/snacks. Kibo Hotel helped make the start of my Tanzanian vacation go even better than expected."

"The property manager and his staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived after 1:00AM and the manager came to greet us and asked if we needed help with anything which was very nice of him. "
