"We had a lovely stay at Askot Cottages and were sad to leave! The cottage was very cosy and has been very thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the gorgeous view from the big window. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice while we were there! We also appreciated the small touches, with plenty of tea and coffee for our stay, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided. There is even a small shop where they have basics you can purchase (cash only). Having...

"Amazing experience"

"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder ein paar Tage länger kommen... Alles perfekt! Das einzige was man bemängeln könnte ist, dass es nur eine Herdplatte gibt. 😅"

"Amazing property, very accommodating and well maintained. Absolutely would stay again!"

"This property is somewhat remote for some people, but we LOVED it! Location was central between our destinations. Everything was available and seemed quite new. Has a fridge, dishwasher, fabulous shower, stove, and oven. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. We loved staying here and hope others will choose to do the same!"

"Logement très bien situé pour visiter le sud du pays : cascades, Vik..."

"Een ontzettend fijne plek om tijdens onze week in IJsland te verblijven. We komen zeker terug als we weer een keer gaan! Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien en het uitzicht is fenomenaal!"

"Location is great. Super cute, but small cabin. Hot tub did not work very well and didn’t hold its heat. Only 4 towels, 1 dish towel and cloth for 4 people for a two night stay. Only 4 coffee pods for a 2 night stay. Was surprised to find no basics in the kitchen. Salt, pepper or oil. However, those were not promised. Duvet inside cover was very stained and a bit off putting. The cabin had good instructions for most things. I would recommend including instructions for cook top as well."

"Recieved check in information very timely without prompting. It's right off the main road and a great view across the street. If you are a light sleeper it may be difficult for you to find some rest, but we used this location to start off the end of the south coast and start of the golden circle and it was perfect. Bigger than expected and very clean."

"Beautiful home. Everything was great except construction team entering the home to complete the upgrade project before our check out."

"Petit logement bien équipé. Location facile à trouver et isolé pour tranquillité. À 20 min de la route 1 et accès facile pour aller visiter d’est en ouest."

"A gem of a cottage - with stunning views of the volcano! Everything was immaculately clean and cozy, and the host added a lot of special touches that made it feel like a home away from home. From the little extras (q-tips, makeup remover, full basket of toiletries) to pantry staples and more. Everything was so cozy and wonderful, wish we could have stayed longer!"

"It was a little cold even with the fireplace burning in the morning when sun came out got hot inside . The experience over all was great!"

"Beautiful property and location"

"We did the golden ring and this was our family's favorite house. The really nice horses were the highlight and petting and feeding them was amazing. The kids wanted to stay longer and play with them. This house also has a washer and dryer so a great time to refresh your dirty clothes from the trip."
