Henna Hotel - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"This is a fantastic hotel! We stayed in the King Suite room which was very large and clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Cappadocia. The rooftop terraces provide an excellent view of the hot air balloons in the morning. Breakfast is substantial and omelettes are made to order. The staff is very helpful with any questions and restaurant recommendations. The manager assisted with booking our hot air balloon tour with Butterfly Balloons (you must take this tour!) and also our shuttle ride back to the airport. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and we highly recommend it to anyone. We will definitely return!"

"My husband booked a beautiful cave room with Christian fresco wall paintings at Ascension Cave Suites for my mother and I via Expedia but when we finally arrived quite exhausted to our destination the room didn't match the advertisement and it was way too small to fit 2 adults. The hotel was fully booked and the manager nicely explained to us that they have different rooms categories and the one we booked was actually on the lowest end. Apparently Expedia had made a deceitful advertisement which had promised a room for 2 people with enough space and a large enough bed to actually accommodate 2 adults. My elder mother almost cried when she saw the high from the ground twin bed we would have to share for the night. The manager, seeing our desperation, once again explained that the hotel was fully booked for that first night but offered us a larger room for the remaining of our stay. Next morning, we handle the manager our keys and while we were enjoying our green tour, her staff moved all our personal belongings to this most beautiful decorated double room on the first floor filled with artwork and Christian fresco wall paintings. Bath tub was still a bit high for an elder person but the bathroom itself was much larger which made it much easier for my mom to get in and out without banging her knees again like it happened on the night before. We are both very grateful to this manager who made sure to ensure we were 100% comfortable and satisfied at the end. She is the BEST! xoxo"

"This property, staff, location, breakfast, kindness, help we received deserve 10 stars. They help with parking, taxi, excursions, restaurant recommendations, help to carry your suitcases in and out and are the most carrying and polite staff ever. The rooms are very nicely decorated, authentic cave and stone mix and quite large, plenty of hot water, have air conditioning, toiletries and also a safety deposit box and TV. Location is very safe. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace (you have to walk 3 flights of stairs with railings) with an incredible view and the location is perfect for watching the balloons fly. Servet at front desk was making sure everyone is taken care of and was always ready and willing to help out. The hotel will do your laundry for 15 euros per bag and it comes ready smelling nice and folded in hours. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Gunay the main guy at reception was really lovely and nice, so helpful, The cat Luna was also very welcoming. The hotel had character and was quaint. The only issue i had was the breasfast staff. I was leaving the breakfast area and took an extra cookie that was in a wrapper and was told off, he said that i can't do take away and can only eat it. I think that was pretty inappropriate and mean as i only took a few extra cookies and i hardly ate anything at the breakfast table, plus it was just a cookie. I also think it was not welcoming or nice to tell your hotel guest that unless it was unreasonable i was emptying everything out onto a doggy bag, Please train your staff better."
