"The Platzl Hotel location was great. The hotel’s check-in service and staff were excellent. This hotel was our splurge during Octoberfest. The breakfast was wonderful with omelet and waffle stations, fruit, pastries, salmon, cheeses, meats, fresh squeezed orange juice, and champagne or beer if you wanted."

The only downsides are that the hotel does not offer many amenlities, and the room rate during Oktoberfest was quite high, approaching the typical price range of a five-star hotel."
