"Friendly owner, nice location, beautiful garden with koi and goldfish pond. Good price, would stay again if in area. Shame we didn’t get to try the breakfast, it sounded nice. Thank you for being so welcoming."

"Very old characterful hotel in the middle of March. Shops, pubs and other eateries just minutes away. Plenty of parking in the hotel's courtyard. Food good, plenty of choice and very good customer service and not to forget extremely dog friendly. My dog loved it. Thank you to all. "

"The staff were very welcoming and pleasant . Our room was ok but the shower over the bath was difficult to use as the drain was blocked so the bath was filling with water whilst trying to shower . The breakfast was ok but tea and coffee was brought to you as opposed to a self service coffee machine . The breakfast fruit was tinned and not fresh ,but the dining room was very clean and the lady serving extremely nice and polite"
