"We needed a place to stay for the practice rounds of the Open at St. Andrews and this idyllic town on the River Tay was perfect. The pictures are quite accurate, but remember, if you’re visiting in summer, that this house and nearly all of Scotland has no air conditioning. We bought two tower fans and left them for others who might need in order to sleep at night. The kitchen was complete, the lining room large, the TV worked well and the beds comfortable. The yard was ideal for a quiet sit....

"Think some of the past negativity is due to food service when the hotel was reopening under a new company/management. So far our stay has been great nice polite staff, lovely rooms, a good health spa, yes there's a couple of tiny tiles missing in the pool, the sauna and steam room are great. So far can't fault them I'd gove them 5/5."

"Our host was lovely and helpful in the run up to our stay, answering questions we had, which made things easy for us. The property was in a very convenient and quiet/peaceful location with good facilities nearby. It was clean and comfortable and well equipped (although we couldn't find a hairdryer which would have been useful) and we enjoyed our stay very much. We'd recommend and would stay again."
