"I recently stayed at Hotel Euphemia in Taichung and had a very positive experience. The hotel ticks all the essential boxes for a comfortable stay in the city. Cleanliness & Facilities The hotel maintains high cleanliness standards throughout, which is always my top priority. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained. A major plus was the laundry service - incredibly convenient for travelers, especially those on longer trips who need to refresh their wardrobe. Staff & Service The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and being responsive to any questions. Their warm hospitality added a nice personal touch to the stay. Location The location is fantastic for both relaxation and convenience. The hotel is close to a park, which provides a pleasant green space and nice surroundings - perfect for morning walks or unwinding after a day of exploring. The neighborhood has a peaceful, local feel. Practically speaking, finding places to eat was effortless with numerous dining options nearby. There's also a 7-Eleven right in the vicinity, which is perfect for grabbing drinks, snacks, or any essentials at any hour. Overall Hotel Euphemia offers excellent value with its combination of cleanliness, friendly service, and convenient location. I'd recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable, no-fuss base in Taichung with easy access to daily necessities and local amenities."

"Arrived around 10am, room was not ready, they try to expedite and the room was ready around 1pm,so aprreciate by early check in and upgrade to bigger and clean room. Staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast is delicious, many choices. Only thing is no hair conditioner provided, the hotel was connect to a shopping which can easily access, so no problem for getting any amenties."

"The Blue Sky hotel at the heart of Taichung is a unique hotel with beautiful decor and unique design. The hotel is about 15 min from the HSR station and a taxi will cost around 300 NTD. You can also take the train but it’s a bit walk with luggage. We arrived on a Sunday and quite early in the morning. The hotel is strict about 3 pm check in so we left our luggage and went for lunch. Unfortunately, most restaurants are closed on Sunday but there was a 2nd market (kind of farmers market), where you can try local food if you can read or translate Chinese. We had a premium quadruple room and the room was huge with a balcony. The bathroom was spacious with both a shower and a bathtub. The toilet had a bidet with a heated seat. The hotel staff noticed my birthday was on the checkout day and gave me a gift while I was checking in. Everyday they provided water and snacks in the room which was a nice gesture! There is an excellent bakery downstairs which is always crowded. They have many restaurants within walking distance and the night markets are within 10 min cab ride. Overall, we had a great experience staying at this hotel. There is also a lounge where I worked most mornings as I was jet lagged and didn’t want to wake my family in my room. The temperature control worked well and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. I would recommend anyone who is looking to stay at the downtown area without paying too high. "

"I was a little hesitant booking this hotel as I typically stay at Hyatt or Marriott’s, but this hotel was a gem! Beautiful prohibition style design with high quality build. They should have picked a higher quality laminate as there were scratches on over the surface. The breakfast and bar were above average. There is an on site self service laundry machine. The gym was the only thing completely lacking, they have cheap elliptical, bike and stair stepper. "

"Beautiful property just minutes from Taichung Railway station. Room was well furnished and staff were welcoming. They have a free laundry room for guests which is really handy. Right across from Miyahara for all your ice-cream and dessert needs. Plenty of food options within a walking distance."
