"This is a charming old hotel. It is clear that what can be done within the confines of the building structure, to keep up with modern needs, has been done.
However, if you require the refinements of a modern hotel this is not going to tick your requirement boxes. Notably, as a couple one of whom has limited mobility, for us the room we were given was much smaller than a modern counterpart and did cause us some difficulties.
The staff were very helpful, particularly in providing the loan when I discovered I had inadvertantly brought the wrong type of charger for our devices, including the mobility scooter.
I did note that there are two dedicated electric charging spaces at the rear of the hotel. These were much in demand, and we only saw them in unoccupied once."
