The Viking village in Gudvangen is a wonderful new addition to Norway's rich history preservation efforts. It is located perfectly within the fjords and yes... that is a Viking ship in the corner.

Svegliarsi Immersi nella valle del fiordo con una spettacolare vista sulle cascate di fronte vale il soggiorno. Abbiamo alloggiato nelle camere/monolocale con angolo cottura. Stanza nuovissima con tutto il necessario per un breve soggiorno è un bel bagno grande. Atmosfera tranquilla e rilassata.

Undeniably a gorgeous location! Communication was a problem but only at 1st. The Expedia message did not work. You have to use WhatsApp to contact them about the door code. The cruise from Flam to Gudvangen provides sone of the most beautiful scenery in the world. The Viking Village is a very nice experience for people of all ages - not just for children.
