"This was everything that it promised! The property is amazing. David was a great host and having his sister right next door was a godsend. "We had great expectations for our stay in Florence, and the communication with Stefania was great, the property has a lot of potential to be a great location, but is currently not as nice as explained. While the rooms are large and spacious, upon entering the space smelled like urine, we aired it out and sprayed multiple scents to assist, but it was tough. By opening the windows, it got better by the end of day 2... however that let in bugs and we got bitten up by mulitple spiders or mosquitos...

"This place is magical!!!!! The host was amazing and so communicative - readily available on the property and was able to answer questions as well as drive us to get food in town and to the train station! Ample space for guests and the property is beautiful. The pool area is great and comes with fun floats / fun activities for near the pool. The ambiance of the outdoor dining area is lovely and the check in/out process was easy. Couldn’t recommend this place more!!!"

"We arrived after dark, tired from long overnight flight. We had no water pressure upstairs and no hot water anywhere. This was corrected the next day. One on-suite toilette would not flush properly and leaked at the grinder motor. A "tech" was called in. He informed us that he could not fix it, they would need to call someone else. When we continued to report the issue to the host, she informed us that the "tech" said it was working OK. The "tech" informed us that it was not but he could not fix...

"Overall, we had a great stay at Bernini Palace and really enjoyed the hotel. Unfortunately, our final interaction left a bad taste in our mouths. After we had already checked out and were getting into our Uber, the doorman ran outside yelling and pointing at us, then aggressively gestured for us to come back inside. I followed him in, only for the front desk to immediately confirm that everything was fine and we were free to leave. There was no apology or explanation afterward. I understand that misunderstandings happen, but the way it was handled felt unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional, especially as the final impression of an otherwise excellent stay."
