"The room was clean and comfortable, it could use a microwave and a fridge for travelers to keep snacks and drinks, other than that, the staff was very nice, the metro station is across the street, there is also a nice coffee shop and restaurants in the area. You can also take the bus directly to the airport, it’s a 30 minute ride, very convenient."

"Was very clean and everyone spoke English well or at least able to communicate. There was nothing around the area so you need to catch an Uber or bus to go to Centro Madrid. Bus to airport was pleasant. A little pricey. But overall a good stay."

"Our room was very clean with comfortable beds and a great shower but it was very very hot with a view of a concrete wall. It needed a link of paint and the whole hotel felt gloomy. The dodgy electrics were hilarious. This hotel was once a great architectural achievement but now it feels like a generic space more like a hospital and very circa 1980s. The public areas are pleasant and the bar is great with excellent service and tasty food. It was easy to find and parking in the garage was great. It felt like cuts were made to increase revenue and the reception staff were very busy. Having to work all day in a black room would make anyone feel gloomy. The location was excellent"

"After a false start, the hotel got better & better, a lovely boutique style room, very comfortable, the rooms were arranged around an internal courtyard really nice to sit in or have your breakfast there & relax. The location was perfect to wander the old part of the city & it felt a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the outer part of a busy city. Breakfast was really good & set in the old barrelled ceiling of the olive oil cellar wonderful ambience. Parking perfect."
