Isolated Log Cabin with Panoramic Views of Cherry Pond and White Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean. Had everything we needed for the long weekend. Host was responsive when I had a question. Kitchen had good quality equipment with basic ingredients in spice cabinet. Bathroom is a good size, shower is smaller, not a bad thing but to keep in mind. We were up there during a few rainy days but still had an incredible view. Would stay here again for sure!"
"What a wonderful place this is. My sister and I brought our 80 year old mom for a long weekend and it was amazing. There was some rain the day and night before so the river was roaring! It was beautiful. The place itself was just as good. Pictures are very accurate. The kitchen was well equip with all we needed to be able to cook all our meals there. The beds were very comfortable and the seating in front of the picture window overlooking the waterfall was the perfect spot to sit and have coffee, eat dinner, or play games. Communication with the owners was easy and they gave fast responses. We are hoping to come back again next year. "
"I’ve been coming to Maidstone Lake for 35 years and usually stay at the state park. This time three of us decided to splurge on some comforts of home. Our house was great. From the seamless check in to the beautiful roomy house. Made a couple of meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thanks Megan!"
Designed for slow mornings and star-filled nights, this secluded Northeast Kingdom escape features a year-round heated hot tub and private pond.
10/10 Excellent
"We visited in April [mud-season] and needed a lowkey school vacation. We regularly visited the hot-tub on the porch - big hit with our teen. We hiked, read on the couch by the fire, and nestled under blankets at the pavilion with its twinkly lights and big open sky.Everything was neat and clean. Full kitchen provided plenty of room and appliances for indulgent dinners. We brought groceries, but Mooselook Diner [am] and the Wildflower Inn [sunset] were worth the excursions. Trails on the property and across the road were easily accessible and scattered with moss-covered boulders. [no bugs in april!] Owners great with communication.Nearby Dog Mountain/Chapel is a must see for animal lovers. All season appeal ! Tranquil location with terrific amenities. We can’t wait to return to swim in the pond or snowshoe the trails !"
Amazing lakefront home in the White Mountains with game room, theater, and dog friendly!
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again! The location was peaceful and quaint, yet conveniently close to Littleton. The house was fully equipped with everything you need. Very pet friendly! Loved that they had a dog crate and pet beds available. Our only complaints are a television in the upstairs living room is needed, the water pressure was not great; especially if someone was washing clothes or running water somewhere else, and I felt it could have used a deep cleaning in some areas (like cobwebs in the corners or pet hair under the cushions on the sofa). The walk down to the water is steep and pretty far, but it is very beautiful. Our kids would have swapped the foosball table for an air hockey table but other than that the downstairs gaming room was awesome! I almost forgot to mention, on our second night, we had a storm that knocked the power out but they had a generator thank heavens, and the power was back on within a few hours. VRBO sent us money immediately for the inconvenience. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. We loved this house and hope to make more memories with our family here. "
