"The chateau is beatiful and the dinner was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at dinner. The food was sooo good and the staff made the night so fun. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary, and they made it so special!! The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were a little disappointed we weren't in the chateau. I misunderstood what our room name was and didn't realize it meant we were in an annex building and not the chateau itself. So that was a let down. But the dinner really made the whole thing worth it and we'd go back again!"

"This is a unique hotel. I felt privileged to stay there. The owners and staff are extremely helpful. The public areas are fabulous. I have paid to visit stately homes which have been less sumptuous! The gardens are also beautiful and the swimming pool(which is heated) was appreciated. I liked the honesty bar and the fact that we could use the kitchen and dining room. We ate in both nights, as I could not imagine finding a better setting! A dear even came into the garden while we were having dinner on the second night! While there is wifi, and tea and a kettle provided in the room, do not expect all mod cons and contemporary furniture. Appreciate the antiques! Pretend you are one of the aristocracy! We had breakfast both mornings: Continental plus eggs cooked to order. Beautifully presented and delicious."

"Beautiful house of great character, spacious and comfortable, well equipped and well insulated (a godsend in this hot summer!), the hosts are friendly and helpful. The treehouse is mind-blowing, the pictures don’t do it justice, kids will absolutely love it.It is very rural and a bit isolated though, however there is a lot to see and do within a few miles drive. There are also several marked walks in the woods, for when you don’t feel like driving.We had an amazing holiday and loved every minute of the time spent there."

"The hotel is a step back in time to the 1970's. The bedrooms and bathrooms are basic but very clean. The owners are lovely and made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast was great. About a 15 minute drive to the nearest town for bars and restaurants."
