"The property was in a secluded area that had a very rural feel to it. The grounds were beautiful and the cabin we stayed in was very comfortable. We were greeted by the caretaker, Patricia, and she was very informative and full of information about the property and surrounding areas. Also, met the owner, and he was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again."

"Placerville is an adorable historic gold mining town with a lovely main street with lots of cute shops and restaurants. The historic Cape Hotel looks exactly like it did 150 years ago in all of its old photos. It is like stepping back in time. It has the second oldest working elevator west of the Mississippi. The staff was extremely friendly. You get to park for free directly behind the hotel (after checking in they will give you a pass to put in your window). Each room is given a cute little...
