"The staff were amazing! Kind, helpful and just joyful. The rooms are not fancy but clean and more spacious than we thought they would be. Nice linens, firm mattresses. The location is perfect. So many restaurants within walking distance, across the street from the lake with a nice walking trail. Felt very safe, even at night. One problem we encountered: only one outlet in our room would charge our phones. Great value for the money. Would stay there again. "

"When we first arrived, there were people standing around outside which made me feel uncomfortable unloading my vehicle. They eventually left. The lobby was super warm. The attendant was with another room but had a sign up. We had to wait for about 5-10 minutes before checking in. They were cordial but not overly friendly. Check in was quick. Asked if we had a preference of floors so the option was nice. We stayed on the 1st floor. The people above us must have had kids because they trampled all over the room until like 10:30. Since we were staying up late too, it wasn’t a big deal. They settled down without us having to call about them. The room itself was fairly clean. It had a microwave and mini fridge. Toilet/tub area was small. The tub has seen better days. Had rust or mold in/around the fixtures/caulking. A few minor flaws in the lampshade and stuff but this hotel has age so that’s to be expected. They had a sign up about the breakfast and what was going to be served. So I knew it would be basically juice, coffee, toast and cereal. What I didn’t expect was only one cereal-Raisin Bran and a few slices of bread, a juice fountain and coffee dispenser. A milk jug was sitting on a cold pack. It was completely disappointing since it was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. We ended up eating breakfast out. Lots of local eats nearby and a gas station within walking distance. The AC worked really well. Beds were firm. Pillows were medium. Shower was ok. Parking fine"

"The air was out in the lobby and the dinning area of the bar. We anticipated being able to eat and enjoy dining and the bar area during our stay but they never got the air conditioning running. It caused us to have to use a Lyft out each day to find dinner, have a drink etc. There was not a discount offered which I thought should have been offered being that many book hotels based off amenities. We also did not have access to a microwave in the general area for use. When I inquired they advised that I would have to rent one from them at a rate of $15 per day and they only had two available for the entire building. I requested to speak with the supervisor and I never received a call back. When we arrived at our check in time, our room was not available. We had to go to dinner straight off the plane. A little work that needs to be done to provide excellent customer service."
