"My stay at Padma Resort Ubud was truly exceptional and easily ranks among the top five hotels I have experienced across the 40 countries I have visited and more than 150 hotels I have stayed in worldwide.
From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff provided an incredibly warm and personalised experience that immediately made us feel welcome. I only wish we had arrived earlier to fully appreciate everything the resort has to offer.
The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped with every amenity one could need. The bathroom products were of excellent quality and beautifully scented. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the pillows were among the best I have experienced during my travels.
The pool area was absolutely breathtaking. From the dedicated children’s section to the swim-up bar, every detail was impressive. The infinity pool overlooking the surrounding jungle created a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The bar staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and happily prepared customised drinks that were not even listed on the menu, which added to the overall experience.
Breakfast was equally impressive, offering an extensive buffet selection with something for everyone. The panoramic views from the breakfast area elevated the experience even further.
Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to explore the resort’s on-site farm and zoo facilities. Looking back, I wish we had allocated more time to staying at the resort"
"Beautiful, spacious and clean hotel with direct access to the beach. Lovely sunrise view from the pool and restaurant area. Hotel is designed for divers and non-divers alike. For divers, there is an excellent in-house dive center and staff. Nitrox was not available during my stay unfortunately. For snorkelers, there is decent snorkeling nearby at the Drop Off dive site. Restaurant serves delicious meals with fresh ingredients and lovely presentations. Highly recommended this hotel. Would stay here again."
"Very friendly and excellent staff
We maintained property with excellent view of the forest, jungle
There are a lot of non-harmful books, but not many mosquitoes
Food was excellent generally excellent Afghani staff
Walk down to the waterfall was wonderful for experience that everybody should probably do"
"1) They didn't have our name at the reception on arrival - took some time to find us
2) Our room had all the curtains closed on arrival and boiling hot... No aircon in the lounge (family room)
3) To get to the family rooms, you need the hotel car. They only have one hotel car, so sometimes you are waiting ages
4) They went to fill the car up with petrol at 9.30am on a Sunday at peak time, so no car was avabile
5) There is no manager working on a Sunday
Family rooms
1) The floors are so slippy - we all fell over, adults and kids
2) They look much better in the photos
Overal
The main building is nice, including the pool but the above makes the place not a good stay

"Room was a decent size, staff were really friendly and helpful, feeding the elephants from the front door of the room was such and amazing experience, having access to the park early was great all in all I don't have a single bad thing to say! Great experience"
"Our villa stay was exceptional from start to finish. The property was impeccably clean, and every detail was thoughtfully maintained, which made the experience feel both comfortable and luxurious. The staff were incredibly attentive, consistently going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect throughout our stay.
The services provided were outstanding—especially the massage service, which was one of the best we’ve experienced. Transportation arrangements were seamless and reliable, making it easy to get around without any stress. Communication was excellent as well; the team checked in with us multiple times to make sure all our needs were met.
Overall, it was a truly relaxing and well-managed stay. We will definitely be coming back to this villa."
"My wife and I and my wife's sister stayed in one of the 2-BR villas at Dusun Bedugul Asri in September 2025. We were very satisfied with our stay there. We went to the area because we wanted to see the Bali Botanical Garden, which is nearby. It was a bit too far to walk, but the hotel quickly arranged a good driver for us. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully landscaped. It's actually like a miniature botanical garden. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant food was excellent."
"It was very dirty. Mould everywhere, weird smell. Dirty and broken toilet. We stayed there for 4 days nobody cleaned the room. When we reached there and complained about the condition of room owner was so rude and almost threatened us. Only good thing was the view from hotel. But its very loud there constant noise of trucks. Food options were very few and kitchen was dirty. "
