Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort

"Friendly staff, nice spacious room, a lovely hotel"
Wilton Hotel Bray
10/10 Excellent
"Although this is quite a plain hotel with ageing decor, my room was an excellent size, large with a comfy bed, the bathroom shower had hot water with good water pressure, the window had curtains and blackout curtains. The hotel is in a quiet location with good parking. The breakfast buffet was excellent, a full choice of everything you would expect and good quality. The staff are friendly. In the evenings they have a good well-stocked bar and lounge with a reasonable food menu. I ate there once and the food was excellent. The hotel is too far out of the town centre to walk, but the L1 and L2 buses run very frequently and provide a good service."
The Horse & Hound

"Very cute place with a great restaurant and bar downstairs. Very clean and comfortable. Great atmosphere. Note though that there is no AC so I wouldn't be comfortable in the summer."

Perfect Getaway in the Wicklow Mountains
10/10 Excellent
"The pics do not do this place justice! Lovely holiday home, we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and nice comphy beds. Such a stunning view of the hills and we watched the farmer and his sheepdogs heard them in and then out at night. We had a bunny visitor and watched the swallows building their nest. The hen harriers swooping down were so peaceful to watch. We would absolutely book this lovely home again. The owners/host contacted us to let us know of an ESB power outage for a portion of one day which really didn’t affect us too much as we were sightseeing. If I had to mention anything the building could use a little bit of a better dust and Hoover especially the corners where dog hair had accumulated. There was a well stocked kitchen with some of the basics such as spices, oil, tea etc. Only thing we were missing was a bit of fairy liquid in the kitchen and a shelf in the bathroom would be much appreciated. Overall it was exactly the respite we needed at night after a lot of sightseeing, it was close to everything we wanted to see and there is plenty of room for visitors to park.Tips / Recommendations:Hannah’s for breakfast rolls andthe mural walk and Murragh in Wicklow, Brittas Bay, The Cartoon Inn in Rathdrum, Avondale House and Tree Top, The Mottee Stone in the Vale of Avoca, Roundwood Stores for bruch, Adriano’s in Ashford forthr BEST fish and chips (not Roundwood) Avoca Handweavers for lunch and Fitzgerald Pub in Avoca if you are a Ballykisangel fan."
