The layout is great and our toddler enjoyed playing in the large lounge and dining area where we could keep an eye on her through the glass windows in the downstairs doors. We appreciated the books for babies and young children and lake district guides for adults. The welcome goodies were a nice touch. "The house was marvellous, spacious and charming but modern too. The kitchen area was clean, with lots of quality appliances and kitchen utensils, beds were very comfortable, the showers, bath and toilets were very clean and modern and in good working order.It's in a great location with lovely views and quick access by car or foot to nearby Kirkby Stephen. The nearby stream/beck provided hours of fun for the 8 year old with us. All in all a lovely holiday experience."

The cottage was clean and very spacious, large living room and dining room and large bedrooms. The welcome packages left were good and very thoughful as there was a separate one for the dog. "We booked this for us and my brother and his wife as we were attending the Keswick Convention on the Pencil factory site. It is an ideal location, a 5 minute walk to the tent. It is also ideally located for the town and Booths the supermarket. We have done trips to Coniston, Ullswater and Cockermouth. All a manageable drive. Thoroughly recommend it, clean and modern and well equipped place. "
