Perfect location, perfect views, in fact, perfect in every way - from the roll top bath with the stunning views to the well equipped kitchen, cosy lounge with log burner and lulled to sleep by the gentle waves. A short walk to catch the Ullswater steamer and then into Pooley bridge for great restaurant choices. We’ll be back!"

"We had a fantastic time at Stag Cottage despite landing in the middle of Storm Dennis. Helen, her Mum & Alan the caretaker were so helpful to us & went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage is so cosy & done out to a really high standard with everything you could need. The area is stunning, so close to the Lakes and the mountain views give a sense of peace & tranquility. If only life was like that more often!"
