"There was a damp smell in the room that was covered up by some kind of fragrance that was not pleasant. The towels felt like sandpaper on my skin. We only slept there for one night, as we were visiting friends in town, but I would not stay there for more than one night. I would not recommend this, unless you are restricted to staying in the area."

"Rented two rooms, black mold in the air conditioning vents in both rooms, rooms smelt of mildew and mold due to the black mold in the vents. Property managers were alerted and "took care of the mold" aka wipe down the mold.. Guess where we found mold next? The bed. There was fluffy, grey/white mold growing all along the bottom of the bed duster. Was moved to another room that smelt of stale cigarettes, and found black mold in the toilet and behind the toilet. The floors of the bathrooms looked...

"This is probably one of the best Hotels I have ever stayed at. The entire staff was great. The rooms were clean, the pool and sauna were great, and the breakfast was also fantastic and so was Peg who was making sure everyone had plenty to eat. This was more than your average hotel breakfast. I love this place and hope to stay there again. I hope to try other locations of the Stoney Creek Hotel chain."
