"This is the worst VRBO our family has ever stayed at. Host changed the duplex a couple of hours before our arrival. The new unit was uncleaned with some linens still wet in the washing machine. It had a room that had no light, old moldy food, cabinets without fronts, windows without coverings, a screen door ripped off, & beds that were very nasty and stained. Garbage wasn’t taken out from the last guest. They only provided 3 towels (that need to be washed) when we reserved for 6. Host absolutely...

"Worse stay ever. The code to the door was wrong. Couldn’t get a hold of the property manager. The first night stayed in a hotel room. The next night had cold showers, couldn’t get the heat turned on and still couldn’t get ahold of the manager. No microwave. I’m pretending the weekend just didn’t happen. "

"Communication with the local host through the VRBO app was not an option. The property management company wouldn’t allow us to communicate with the local host inside the app. It had to be through communications outside the app to their personal cell phone. "Couple that owned property very and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable and was nice."

"I canceled my booking with in 1 hour of making the booking. it was not the location I wanted. it showed refundable but when I tried to get my money back I spent days and hours on the phone with Expedia and the host. the charge was definitely from the host but they refused to admit they charged me. I waited for 7 business days and then Expedia gave me the go ahead to dispute the charge. I will never book with them again and their customer service is terrible."
