"The location was very convenient, but there were quite a bit of issues when we were checking-in that were unforseen. Rooms were clean, but the lighting around the rooms were all poorly placed, there weren't any lights in the closet, or in front of the mirror. It was almost impossible for my wife to do any make-up with the lights in the room. The washroom was dim, and the shower door and the shower floor were inconvenient because the glass door was flimsy and it would hit against the tile...

"Our room was not cleaned, and the towels were not replaced. In addition, the safety box was not working, the hair dryer was broken, and there were no shower caps or facial tissues provided. Furthermore, the restaurant staff was not friendly at all on Saturday breakfast. Overall, the hotel’s standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and amenities are very poor and far below what we expected. It was a very disappointing experience, I will never stay in the Chicamocha Hotel never again."
