"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Annex.Mo and Alistair were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome.The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped a home from home.The welcome pack was amazing with fresh eggs from the hens and the best Victoria sponge we have ever tasted plus a few other goodies. The cottage was lovely with sea views at one side and countryside on the other.The night skyscapes were amazing and we saw the Northern Lights (the Aurora).We would thoroughly recommend...

"Lovely cottage, it has everything you need. We received a lovely welcome pack, both for us and the dogs, which was a lovely touch. Cottage is in a great location to visit local points of interest, with some lovely walks right on your doorstep. Locals were extremely welcoming also. We will definitely be back, would highly recommend!"

Good Fish and Chip shop around the corner (had the Haddock with chips and curry which was delicious and a good portion size) and a sandwich bar that serves breakfast items too (bacon butties recommended). Really good bakers across the road with numerous choices. Close to Montrose town centre and beach and on the way in from Dundee and the North. Benefit of Netflix on site and free WiFi.
