"The hotel was nicely situated on a hillside with wonderful views. The majority of the staff were helpful, only one person at the bar who was a bit sullen. The rooms were a little noisy, I think my room was above a kitchen as I heard banging of pans late into the evening."

"Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."

"Pool and spa area were good. Not the hotels fault but we visited during the heatwave and the second floor room was unbearably hot, the window barely opened and the fans were ineffective"

"Breakfast very poor both days Closed the outside seating area (30d) and restaurant for a private party,they should think about the people staying in hotel o they did not. Check out,come down stairs to reception you could not move for people and also outside on pavement. + Room was excellent plus the Bar staff was excellent."

"Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable!"
