"A pleasure"

"I am so impressed with this hotel. Every staff member is so friendly and professional. The room was clean, comfy, quiet and the area is safe! They want that for their customers and you can tell. The breakfast is some of the best continental I have ever had at a hotel. There is a bar open till 12 which is genius because the front desk can serve basic things like wine, beer and liquor and soda. That was nice. The view was nice. And omg just so good. I will be back!!"

"We were in town to attend my niece's wedding at St. Patrick's Cathedral. We could have stayed at a hotel closer to the venue, but this location allowed us to explore Grand Central Terminal, Bryant Park, the New York Public Library and everything in between. The lobby is gorgeous and the staff was great. Minor niggle, I wish the lobby bar was open just a tad later. They were about to close when we arrived after the wedding, but the staff accommodated us for a nightcap, An unexpected and much...

"Great place to stay"

"My room was tiny but the space was so well designed it did not feel cramped. I only stayed for one night but had my stay been longer I would have been very comfortable. I also really like that part of east Midtown. Easy access to good restaurants, subways, etc."

"I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel :) The staff are so incredibly friendly. My room was a great size, felt newly appointed and had floor to ceiling windows. It was so helpful to have the all day cafe and restaurant as well. Such a great location! I work in the industry and stay a quite a few hotels - i definitely recommend a stay here."

"My experience at The William Vale in Brooklyn was humiliating and deeply upsetting. All I wanted was to celebrate my husband’s birthday and enjoy a special night together. Instead, the hotel called the police on us, and we were told to leave without a clear explanation. Staff claimed they had called our room beforehand, but we were in the room and never heard the phone ring. The first indication we had that there was a problem was when the police knocked on our door. I felt embarrassed, hurt,...

"Simple, clean, and friendly. Location is a bit far from subway but the free shuttle more than makes up for that."

"In any other location in the country this would be a $150/night motel. It was clean and it was quiet enough to sleep, but it’s super basic and there were multiple things broken or breaking in our room. I would have been very happy at $150/night, but at $300+ it was hard to swallow."

"Great breakfast"

"Amazing for its proximity to subway and eating places around"
