"I had an absolutely amazing stay at Mandalika Cottage on Gili Trawangan! The location is perfect—close enough to walk to everything but tucked away just enough to enjoy peace and quiet at night. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay: a fridge, drinking water, AC, and hot water. "SCAM. Nothing like pictures. Building area looked like a slum. Disgusting room. Previous flooding visible on the walls. No desk to talk to just a phone service where the so called manager promised a refund as we could not stay there. Weve found other honest operators on gili t, so cant get our money back but hope this serves as a warning. After speaking to locals we were told tgeyhave been scamming people for ages, so why are still on expedia??"

"We chose this place solely based on the price as we were only on the island for two nights. There are much nicer spots on Gili T, but they come with a heavier price tag and Villa PhyPhy is great - top notch air con (which was definitely needed!) and basic but comfy beds. "

"The staff were all lovely. Only negative is the noise. Rooms all surround the pool as in steps away from it and late into the night there was loud laughing and merrymaking. No sleep for sober guests until early morning. It is an ideal spot away from the crowd but within 3 minutes of walking to/from the harbour and said crowd."

Special shout out to the superb staff, whose manager keeps things in top clean condition and is ready for any request. For a small place, it offers big value. And try the restaurant too - it offers a complete menu!"
